Established Spokane Law Office is continuing to expand and is accepting applications for a full time litigation Associate Attorney. Our office practices in Landlord/Tenant and Fair Housing law in all counties east of the Cascade Mountains in WA and Northern Idaho representing affordable housing providers and manufactured housing communities.

Qualified candidates should have experience in civil litigation, moot court or debate, along with strong analytical, writing and oral advocacy skills, and a positive attitude. Strong research and writing skills are required. We are looking for an individual who is both a team player and a self-starter seeking increasing levels of responsibility.

This position involves litigating cases in court and drafting legal pleadings for multiple jurisdictions. You will also be fielding calls and messages from clients, case defendants, and regularly interacting with opposing counsel. This is a great position to start or polish your litigation skills. You will be trained, coached and mentored by seasoned lawyers. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to gain litigation experience, practice in multiple jurisdictions, and grow with the firm as it continues to expand. Our office recognizes the need for work/life balance. Flexible scheduling including some remote work may be possible.

Licensed to practice in Washington state is required. License to practice in Idaho or fluency in Spanish will give you an edge, but is not required for application. Hired applicants will be encouraged to seek Idaho license to practice law.

Compensation: Starting at between $38.45/HR to $67.31/HR DOE with conversion to salary after probationary period. Total annual salary range for associates is currently between $80,000 to $140,000 per year and expanding. You will be given opportunity to increase your earnings with bonuses and annual salary increases based on production/performance/growth. Health Insurance reimbursement and simple IRA available after tenure.
